What I do not understand is refusing to give customers their money back when this kind of thing occurs. I understand that these things happen and are beyond anyone's control. I am still waiting to receive that refund more than three weeks later. Upon speaking to customer service from our Uber, we were told we would receive a refund in 7 to 10 business days.

After standing on the side of the road for 30 minutes, my husband and I were lucky enough to find an Uber driver who was willing to take us all the way to St. We had been traveling all day at this point and were supposed to start a bike trip at 8am the next morning. En route one of the passengers wasn't well and our driver quickly got him to a rest stop where he was able to avert an unpleasant experience. We were going to be 15 minutes late and our driver was full of encouragement! He messaged us all the way until we got to the shuttle.
